Our Story

Most people love art, few feel invited into the conversation.

The Collector’s Atelier was founded to change that.

After being awarded an Art Scholarship and studying History of Art in Oxford, Charlotte spent eight years at Sotheby’s across London, Geneva and New York, gaining a front-row seat to the art world and the conversations that shape it. Her writing on collecting has since been featured in Ark Magazine, the historic Royal College of Art publication held in the National Art Library at the V&A.

But one thing became clear: the biggest barrier to collecting art isn’t always budget. More often, it’s confidence.

The Collector’s Atelier exists to open up that conversation, helping a new generation of collectors navigate artists, exhibitions and the art market with greater confidence.

Because collecting starts with curiosity.

It starts with learning how to look.

"Collect slowly. Collect intentionally."
